SOME QUESTIONS FROM YOU…
- What kinds of animals are used to demonstrate your methods?
- What has moved you to make this kind of information available?
- Why is positive reinforcement the best method?
- Are there any un-trainable animals?
So I made this video titled: Ten diverse species we’ve training using positive reinforcement in the last 12 months.
Positive reinforcement can work for all animals in all situations. Animals are always looking for opportunities to move towards the things they want and away from the things they don’t.
One of my biggest mentors over the years told me that it was her mission to change the world one animal at a time. Her method is to spread the word about the most positive and less intrusive animal training techniques known. I like to think that I’m doing my part in this mission. This is one of the reasons I started animal training academy.
I take great pleasure in doing what I do but even greater pleasure in seeing my students succeed. At the end of the day, it’s frequently not my hand delivering that food item with perfect timing and therefore communicating to your animal that is had done the right thing, it’s yours! I simple lead the way.
If you share your life with animals, whether it be exhibit animals at a zoo, wildlife at a wildlife park, animals on a farm or your pet dogs and cats at home, understanding their behavior and how to successfully implement strategies that positively impact upon it will change your life forever, the content that I provide at animal training academy is designed to do this.
